Sally Tierney holds a Chelsea Silver-Gilt Medal, two Harrogate Flower Show Golds, an English Heritage horticultural apprenticeship, and is a Registered Member of the Society of Garden and Landscape Designers and a former Yorkshire Wildlife Trust Trustee. She is the author of The Garden Equation (2015).
